We were delighted to receive a visit from the Lichfield Lord Mayor, Cllr David Leytham and Lichfield Sherriff, Michael Mullarkey, recently.
The Lord Mayor and Sherriff are raising money for two charities; St. Mary’s in the Market Square and Lichfield Greenhill Bower Charitable Trust and currently have two events planned; a Halloween themed Barn Dance on 31st October and a Black and White themed Ball on 27th November, both being held at Lichfield’s Guildhall.
We donated two prizes that will be auctioned at the charity events and Head of Salon, Dawn Knox, is pictured here with the Lord Mayor and Sherriff giving the prizes to them.
St. Mary’s vision is to: Make St. Mary’s the beating cultural heart of Lichfield’s community, building aspirations and skills through engagement with the city’s vibrant history and the arts.
Its heritage and arts programme is accessible to everyone and encourages young people to participate in creative learning opportunities. St Mary’s forms partnerships with schools and colleges to offer opportunities to as many people as possible. Visit St. Mary’s website to find out more.
