It all began…over 25 years ago. I embarked on my hairdressing journey at a salon in London. My first haircut experience in the city was at Vidal Sassoon, igniting a passion that would shape my career. The allure of events like the L’oreal Colour Trophy fuelled my passion and propelled me towards a path of creativity and innovation. Prior to this, I had a career in catering management, but the lure of hairdressing was always there.

I chose to work with Obsession Salon & Spa because I could see from the start that the brand and vision for the company matched my own values. Their commitment to excellence, creativity, and guest satisfaction aligned perfectly with my own goals, making it an easy choice to join the team.

I love variety. I thrive on it. Whether it’s cutting, colouring, or blow-drying, each aspect brings its own unique challenges and rewards, keeping every day exciting and fulfilling.

I have plenty of funny hairdressing stories but some of the best ones are better kept behind the salon doors! Let’s just say, laughter is always in abundance amidst the hairspray and hairpins.

My expertise within the team can be multi-functional. As the Operations Director, my role runs across various aspects of the salon, from managing finances and stock to being hands-on with guests on the salon floor. My colleagues often look to me for guidance and support in navigating the intricacies of salon operations.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me indulging in a bit of DIY. There’s something incredibly satisfying about rolling up my sleeves and tackling a home improvement project. Of course, family time is precious to me, even if they don’t share my enthusiasm for hardware stores over fancy restaurants!
